Yeezys Through The Seasons

Since day one, Eastbay has been proud to offer you the hottest shoes around. We are your destination for Yeezys.

Check out the timeline below to view Eastbay’s journey with the popular kick by Kanye West x adidas Originals.

YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 'Light'

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Light’

The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Light’ drops August 28. It features a tonal grey Primeknit upper with a contrasting orange pull tab on the heel. The lateral side stripe is made with UV-activated yarns that changes color when exposed to sunlight, changing the stripe from grey to orange. Full-length BOOST cushioning and the classic Yeezy outsole complete the look.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Mono Ice’

The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Mono Ice’ is part of the ‘Mono’ pack slated to drop on June 18. The pack consists of three semi-translucent colorways that will each be dropping in different parts of the world. While the ‘Mono Ice’ can be found in North America, the ‘Mono Clay’ can be found in Asia Pacific and China, and the ‘Mono Mist’ will drop in Europe, Africa, India, The Middle East, Russia, Ukraine, and China too.

The upper is made with monofilament mesh which makes it see-through and shows off the inner cage. The shoe is mostly a light blue color, save for the branding strip that is just a shade darker. The matching colors give the shoe a very chromatic feel for a clean look on your feet.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Ash Pearl’

The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 “Ash Pearl” will be launching on March 20, 2021. The shoe features a return to the earth-tone hues that have become fairly standard in the Yeezy line. Three different colors are layered across the upper with a sandy cream on the top, tan in the middle, and dark blue on the bottom. The two-toned gum outsole, a staple, brings the shoe together for a crisp, clean look.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Ash Blue’

The first Yeezy of 2021 has arrived. The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘ASH BLUE’ will be launching on 2/27. In a departure from the recent launches that have featured more earth tones, this shoe indulges in more shades of blue and gray. A yellow, non-transparent lateral side stripe breaks up the flow of the shoe, and the ribbed midsole sets it apart from other Yeezys.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Sand Taupe’

The final Yeezy of 2020 will be launching on 12/19. The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Sand Taupe’ brings back some familiar earthy tones from previous models. The shoe features brown hues with rustic orange weaves running through the lateral vamp. The outsole is a light and dark gum color and there will also be a new lacing system featured.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Core Black/Red’

The YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 ‘CORE BLACK/RED’ is being re-released on 12/5 just in time for the holidays. The shoe is constructed with an all-black Primeknit upper with a matching TPU midsole that covers Boost cushioning. Red stitching on the pull tab matches the red “SPLY-350” lettering on the side panel.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Natural’

Continue to grow your sneaker collection by adding the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Natural’ to your closet. The upper is split into two variations of the titular color, with the top half being a darker shade and the bottom half a lighter shade. The heel pull from several of the past silhouettes has been removed, giving the shoe a cleaner look. This pair will be available on 10/24.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Carbon’

Put together a new look this fall with the adidas Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Carbon’. Sitting atop a translucent outsole is a Primeknit upper with black and gray tones. A solid black stripe runs along the lateral side with matching colored laces.

The adidas Originals Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘ZYON’ drops at 7 a.m. on 7/18/2020. Visit eastbay.com to buy a pair.

Slip on something different with the multi-colored ‘Zyon’ featuring two dual-colored sections of the upper separated by the lateral black stripe. Above the stripe is a grey and off-white pattern while below is dark brown and off-white.

The Yeezys below are no longer available for purchase.

The ‘Yeshaya’ colorway is the first drop of 2020. The light colorway is a fresh start to the new decade featuring grey and white colors in the Primeknit upper, a white Boost midsole and a gum-colored rubber outsole.

adidas Originals Yeezy Boost 350 V2 'Yecheil' colorway

The sheer side stripe is back to give an airy look and feel to the ‘Lundmark’ colorway, perfect for its summertime release. To make these Yeezys even more of a standout, for the first time in a couple years, the shoes are without a heel tab.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2

The ‘Black’ colorway certainly is a standout with the only pop of color being a thin red stripe on the heel tab.

The Year In Review: Eastbay’s Top Launches Of 2016

At Eastbay, we pride ourselves on offering the hottest shoes from the best brands. We are your go-to destination for all the biggest releases. As 2016 comes to a close, let’s look back at the shoes that took the sneaker world by storm.

adidas Originals Yeezys

12-31-16_yeezy3_660x636

This year’s Yeezy season was hotter than ever. We restocked the popular ‘Pirate Black’ colorway of the Boost 350. Later, Kayne West and adidas shocked us with the release of their 350 Boost V2 in the Beluga colorway, followed by the release of not one, not two, but three V2s at one time! And we can’t forget about the 750 Boost in the light brown colorway either. That wasn’t all — one of the biggest hits for this Yeezy season was the Boost 350 Cleat and the black/white V2s. With instant sellouts and surprise releases, the Yeezy made 2016 a year to remember for all of us at Eastbay.

adidas Originals NMD Runner

eb-hp-spotlight-mobile-061016-nmd-640x350-updated-1

One of adidas Originals’ biggest hits this year was the release of their NMD Runner. Every colorway we dropped sold out almost instantly. Why was this shoe such a big deal? It was new and unlike anything we’d seen before. The striking combination of shapes, angles, and materials redefined the shoe game as we know it. Toward the end of 2016 we saw some updates to the NMD with the addition of fabrics, cages, and more. Will it be just as hot next year? I guess we’ll have to wait and see what adidas Originals has up their sleeve.

adidas Ultra Boost

eb-social-120216-ultraboost-1024x512-jpg

One of the hottest kicks on the planet in 2015 carried over to 2016 and shows no signs of slowing down. The adidas Ultra Boost craze has reached a whole new level this year. The minimalist look and undeniable comfort give this shoe the effortless cool factor that everyone craves. And just when we thought they couldn’t get any better, adidas brought us the first colored Boost in its Uncaged models, making it an obvious choice for our top launch list. We saw red and black Boosts at the end of this year, unlocking so many opportunities for 2017.

Jordan Retro 11 – ‘Space Jam’

eb-hp-spotlight-mobile-121016-jordanretro11-640x350_2

The most anticipated Jordan Retro 11 dropped this year in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the movie “Space Jam.” Fans everywhere remember how Michael Jordan wore this shoe as he defeated one of his toughest opponents: the Monstars. This sneaker is considered one of the greatest Jordans ever, partly because of its connection to the film and because of its out-of-this-world look. Dedicated Jordan fans were able to get this hot sneaker and all of the Jordan Space Jam hookups, right here at Eastbay.

Jordan Retro 12 – ‘French Blue’

eb-hp-spotlight-mobile-040116-retro12-640x350-1

The Retro 12 hit big this year with two major releases. Jordan lovers waited a decade for the release of the AJ 12 ‘French Blue’ and they finally got it. The silhouette, comprised of white tumbled leather and French Blue overlays, had everyone swooning, making a perfect pick for our 2016 list.

Jordan Retro 12 – ‘Flu game’

eb-hp-spotlight-mobile-052616-retro12-640x350-1

Another Retro 12 dropped this year that brought back all of the nostalgia for Jordan fans. Everyone remembers the playoff series game when MJ put up 38 points, grabbed seven boards, and dished out five assists, all while sick with the flu. These shoes brought back that memory of MJ’s will to win and sealed this sneaker’s spot in our top launches of the year.

Jordan Retro 1 OG – ‘Banned’

12-31-16_jordanaj1highog_660x385

The ‘Banned’ AJ 1 originally stormed onto the scene during Michael Jordan’s rookie season and returned this year, making our list of top launches. The black-and-red color scheme violated a league policy, resulting in a $5,000 fine each time MJ stepped onto the court in the sneakers. Like Michael Jordan himself, the ‘Banned’ AJ 1 defied expectations and norms making it an obvious choice for our top launches of 2016.

Jordan Retro 3 – ‘True Blue’

eb-instagram-112516-jordanretro3_opt2-660x660_2

Rounding out our top launches of 2016 is the Jordan Retro 3 ‘True Blue.’ This sneaker became famous when MJ returned to the NBA to join the Washington Wizards. This highly-anticipated launch dropped on Black Friday after not being available since 2011. The all-white leather upper with cement grey detailing with blue and red accents complete its classic look Jordan fans crave.

Well there you have it — our top launches of 2016! If you hadn’t noticed, our list was dominated by two brands: Jordan and adidas. Will next year be the same? Can we expect more from Yeezy? What will Jordan be retroing next? Stay tuned in 2017 by checking our release calendar and our blog for the latest and greatest launches.

Happy New Year!

A Fusion Of Culture And Speed: The Yeezy Boost 350 Football Cleats

A Fusion Of Culture And Speed: The Yeezy Boost 350 Football Cleats

Yeezy 350 Boost Football CleatEverything Kanye West touches is a hit. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a new record or a new shoe; his releases capture the public’s attention, dominate the industry, and inspire tons of followers. So, when it was announced earlier this year that Mr. West’s groundbreaking partnership with adidas would extend to performance gear, fans were rightfully excited.

Well, the first Yeezy performance products have dropped, and they are straight fire. It all started with the Broncos’ Super Bowl MVP linebacker Von Miller unveiling the Yeezy Boost 750s on Instagram before Thursday’s 2016 NFL season opener against the Panthers.

But before football fans and sneakerheads could even catch their breath, adidas and ‘Ye turned everything up to 11 on Sunday with the reveal of the Yeezy Boost 350s. This time, the Three Stripes brand gave three of football’s biggest stars the honors, as Adrian Peterson, DeAndre Hopkins, and Sammy Watkins all led the way as ambassadors of this latest campaign.

The design mirrors the original 350 Boost sneakers, ensuring that your on-field style reaches an entirely new level. And to make the cleats gridiron-ready, adidas has added a premium suede overlay to the Primeknit upper for the support you need during quick cuts. It’s 5-Star frame keeps them incredibly lightweight and strong.

But chances are, if you’re a Yeezy fan, you already know why you want these cleats. The real question, as with all of Kanye’s releases, is where can you find it? The answer: Right here!

Eastbay is the only retailer authorized by adidas to carry the Yeezy Boost 350 football cleats. We’re committed to offering you the latest, hottest, and best athletic gear around, and these cleats check all three boxes.
