The iconic Air Jordan 2 has been released in a new creative colorway that undoubtedly comes from Michael Jordan’s college years playing for the North Carolina Tar Heels. The Jordan 2 which originally released in 1986, has never been released in this colorway. Aside from the mostly University Blue uppers, black accents add contrasting details to balance out the colorway nicely.

The Air Jordan IX in the original University Blue colorway will hit Eastbay this weekend. This pair is the start of multiple Jordan 9s dropping later in the year. This particular launch is a pretty limited one, so don’t sleep. They will be available on Friday, May 28th at 11pm CST, Midnight EST. It was reported earlier that Eastbay will also have the Melo M6 Future Sole. Those will release the same night as these AJ 9. Check out the Melo M6 Future Sole post here.
