Under Armour Wounded Warrior Project Cleats
words // Brandon Richard
Since 2009, Under Armour has linked up with the Wounded Warriors Project, a non-profit organization aimed at raising awareness and enlisting the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members. Each year, the brand has created military and USA-inspired uniforms and footwear for their sponsored teams to wear on the field at key points in the season. This year, schools like South Carolina, Texas Tech and South Florida are participating in the program.
Pictured below is the lineup of Under Armour football cleats created for this year’s Wounded Warriors Project uniforms, which feature a unique “Stars and Stripes” print in tribute of the 10th Anniversary of 9/11. The pattern is repeated throughout the upper of the cleats, each black-based with white and cardinal red accents. Included in the lineup is the Nitro III Mid, Nitro III Low, Fierce III Mid and Blur II Low. All styles are available at Eastbay today.
