Whether we like it or not, the South Beach sneaker colorways will be sticking around for the foreseeable future, and the latest shoe to make use of the Miami-inspired style comes to us by way of Supra Footwear and their long list of fashionable skate shoes.
The silhouette of choice is the original Chad Muska Skytop, which sports a mostly premium tumbled black full-grain leather upper with teal canvas stitched along the heel, collar and trim around the tongue. Salmon hits appear on the upper lace eyelets, tongue padding and various branding points, while a white-wrapped vulcanized outsole caps off the look below.
The MIA Black Skytop is available to purchase now over at Eastbay.
Supra Footwear continues to be one of the most popular skate brands thanks to their creative colorway and material choices, and also because of their natural ability to land on the feet of the famous. The Supra Skytop colorways that just released for the spring will undoubtedly help their success continue.
What has been overlooked by some, when it comes to Supra Footwear, is the relative simplicity of the design of their shoes. The simple and skate-able designs are function first, and then receive the rockstar treatment that turns heads. Beneath each and every one of the Supra Footwear designs is the unmistakable Supra badging, as seen here on the latest Supra Skytop colorways.

If there were ever a time when that old adage, “if it isn’t broke then don’t fix it,” was fitting, the Supra Skytop is it. The Chad Muska pro model has a relentless group of followers that can’t seem to get enough colorways of the shoe.
The spring colorways of the Supra Skytop will include two makeups that will be sure to ink themselves on the wish list of Supra fans. A crackle blue suede edition will be a must for those looking for a little more rockstar-like attention with its head-turning finish. A second colorway comes in the popular ballistic nylon mesh that seems to be popping up on all sorts of styles lately.
As for skate duties, the Muska-designed Skytop features a vulcanized outsole for superior board feel and control. Supra added an extra heel protection with a polyurethane insole. Beneath that resides the always-reliable SupraFoam midsole that provides cushioning and resists impact from those rough landings.

Supra Footwear in recent years has become one of the most sought after skate shoes around thanks to a long list of rockstar-like team riders. One of the most popular models is the Chad Muska pro model, the Supra Skytop. With Muska’s name in the hat with other skaters and musicians like Terry Kennedy, Steve Aoki, Angel Cabada, Tom Greco and Lizard King, the company’s place in skate footwear has been growing consistently since it was founded by Angel in 2006.
Muska’s pro model, the Supra Skytop is now available in a trio of “TUF” colorways. The TUF labeling ensures durability while full length SupraFoam cushioning helps absorb impact. A vulcanized gum rubber outsole provides the utmost board control while an internal neoprene toecap and vamp add extra toe protection. For those looking for a little extra style, a standard edition version of the Skytop is also available in a combination of black suede and black croc-skin finish.
