With minimalist running shoes still being the most desired style right now, every company is continually looking at new innovative ways to create lighter and faster running sneakers. Saucony has set a new standard with the recently released Hattori design.
COming in at an unbelievable 4.4 ounces, the Saucony Hattori uses a synthetic exoskeleton design with a hook and loop system to replace the standard lacing system we’ve come to expect on shoes. An EVA midsole and strategically placed XT-900 carbon rubber in the outsole offer reinforcement in a lightweight form. With a an equal heel-toe ratio and a mesh toebox design that allows your toes to push off and move freely, the Saucony Hattori is about as close to barefoot as you can get without the discomfort road hazards.
