The Zig Slash isn’t officially the signature shoe of John Wall, but Reebok is making sure they do everything they can to make sure the shoe is associated with the rookie phenom. Here’s a new colorway of Reebok’s new hoop shoe, done in a colorway that’s been a longstanding favorite in the sneaker community. The shoe features a full grey synthetic and mesh upper, with a patent section working the toebox. Hits of white are seen on the tongue, laces and Zig sole. These officially drop in early December, but you can reserve your pair today.

The Utah Jazz over the last week or so have been unstoppable. In their recent road trip they beat four of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Atlanta Hawks, and Charlotte Bobcats. Tuesday however the Oklahoma City Thunder put a stop to the win streak thanks to 30 points by Kevin Durant. Durant went 16-for-16 from the free throw line including 6 straight to end Utah’s chances at a sixth straight win.

The New Orleans Hornets also had a streak come to an end this week, as they were defeated by the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs were led by Jason Terry who scored 26 points on Monday to give the Hornets their first loss of the season.

Reebok Zig Slash – Three Colorways

words_Brandon Richard

Once a powerhouse in basketball footwear, Reebok has made efforts to reclaim their standing in the market again. Those plans started with the highly publicized acquisition of the first overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, John Wall. While Wall is expected to have a Reebok signature sneaker next season, he’ll spend his rookie year as the face behind the Reebok Zig Slash, a basketball shoe that features Reebok’s popular Zig Technology.

The Zig Slash sports a synthetic base, with triangle cuts near the ankle that reveal a highly breathable mesh underlay. Additional comfort is provided by full-boot bootie construction at the midsole, which sits above a zig-zag-shaped rubber outsole. The Zig sole transfers energy from impact along the sole to propel the athlete forward with each step.

You can pre-order three different colorways of the Zig-Slash now: Reebok Zig Slash.

Reebok Stop N Dish III Colorways

words_Nick Engvall

With Basketball Season right around the corner, the choices of basketball shoes will begin to seem unlimited over the next couple of months. Reebok’s early contribution to the list of choices is the third version of the company’s Stop N Dish. The Stop N Dish seems to carry some influence from some of Reebok’s other past basketball shoes, like the Kamikaze and Talkin’ Krazy.

Performance comes in the form of Reebok’s HexRide cushioning and a herringbone traction pattern that is designed to allow quick cuts and slashes. Materials consist of a mix of synthetic leather and suede, and a handful of colorways are available to pre-order now.
