With the Summer Olympics set to take place in London next July, one of the biggest storylines will be whether or not Jamaican sprinter Usain “Lightning” Bolt will maintain the dominance he displayed during the 2008 games in Beijing. The “World’s Fastest Man” is the world record and Olympic record holder in the 100 meters, the 200 meters and (along with his teammates) the 4×100 meters relay. He is also the reigning Olympic champion in these three events.
In January, PUMA will introduce a brand new pair of Usain Bolt signature track spikes, the Bolt Faas 007. Described as the fastest spikes on the market, the Bolt Faas 007 will be available in two variations. The primary version, developed for Bolt himself, features premium construction and technology for the serious sprinter. Additionally, there will be a slightly scaled back version of the spikes crafted with high school athletes in mind. Each pair will be available in a Classic Green/White colorway with Bolt and Jamaican flag accents.
This week’s Eastbay Wallpaper gives you a preview look at the upcoming PUMA Bolt Faas 007 spikes. Keep checking the blog for a fully detailed look in the near future.
