Nike has been taking style cues from multiple silhouettes and creating hybrid styles for years. One of the most successful in recent years is the Nike Air Max 24/7 which combines the Air Max 97, the full Air Max sole found on the most recent Air Max 2010, and the unmistakable layered side panels of the Air Max 95. While the recent Glass Blue colorway definitely made some wish lists, next Spring the Nike Air Max 24/7 will take on new life with some iconic colors that will be equally sought after.
This week’s Eastbay Photo of the Week gives us a close up look at details of the Air Max logo on the tongue and the 3M detailing from this Spring 2011 colorway.

Not long ago one of the popular Nike Training models from the past returned again, the Nike Air Trainer Max 91. Looking ahead to the future another timeless style from Nike Training will be making its way back to Eastbay, and probably into your collection shortly thereafter. The Nike Air Trainer Max 94 in one of its most memorable colorways will arrive in the spring of 2011.

Last month we gave you a look at the upcoming Asics GEL Noosa Tri-6 Collection. One of the most noticeable things about the brightly colored running shoes, aside from the color that is, was the different textures that are used to also add extra wow factor. This week’s Eastbay Photo of the Week gives us a close up look at those textures.

The upcoming Derrick Rose signature from adidas has become one of the most anticipated shoes from adidas in quite some time. The University Red and Black colorway of the adiZero Rose is one that will surely turn heads, but it’s really the subtle details that impress when it comes to this shoe. This week’s Eastbay Photo of the Week gives us a close-up look at the subtle print that goes unseen from a distance, as well as an up-close look at the adidas Sprintskin technology that helps to keep Derrick Rose’s first signature shoe light as can be.

Although Brandon Phillips has struggled at the plate recently, the 2008 Gold Glove winner has a couple things going his way. First off, his Cincinnati Reds team should be clinching their first playoff birth since 1995 any day now. Secondly, Brandon Phillips’ impressive glove work has made him one of the select few players to have their Player Exclusive baseball gloves made available to the public.
Phillips’ Wilson A2K glove is detailed with red piping and lacing to match his jersey color, and details like the gold stitched A2K on the index finger only add to the impressiveness of this limited-edition model. Look for this Eastbay-exclusive colorway to arrive as we turn the calendar page into the new year.
