The return of the mid ’90s classic Air Max Speed Turf continues with the release of this never before seen Oakland Raiders inspired colorway.

One of the most recognized Nike Training shoes of the mid ’90s, the Air Max Speed Turf returns in its original leather, mesh and nubuck build. Bringing the classic Oakland Raiders inspiration to life, we see a combination of wolf grey and black gracing the upper. Metallic silver hits the heel Swoosh, along with the heel Air Max unit.

Leading the charge as part of the Swoosh’s NFL takeover this season, this all new Raiders-inspired colorway of the Air Max Speed Turf is now available here at Eastbay.

Big numbers were posted all around the league this weekend, making this week’s choice for Player of the Week a difficult one. In Atlanta, Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer completed 36 passes for 412 yards and 3 touchdowns, while Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan found receiver Roddy White 11 times for 201 yards and 2 scores in a Falcons win. Speaking of big game by wide receivers, Tennessee’s Kenny Britt caught 7 balls for a career-high 225 yards and 3 touchdowns in a Titans win over the Eagles. As great as those performances were, I believe I can name two that were better. Between those two, I can’t choose one over the other, and that’s why I’m rolling with Week 7 Co-Players of the Week.

Week 7: NFL Player of the Week - Darren McFadden Photo Courtesy of Yahoo

The first recipient is Oakland’s Darren McFadden. In a stunning rout of the rival Denver Broncos, McFadden found the endzone four times. The third-year back ran the ball 16 times, slipping through the Broncos’ porous defense for 165 yards and three touchdowns. McFadden was also on the receiving end of a 19-yard touchdown pass from Jason Campbell in the second quarter. Behind McFadden’s four scores, the Raiders scored the most points in their 50-year history, beating Denver by a score of 59-14.

Week 7: NFL Player of the Week - DeAngelo Hall Photo Courtesy of Yahoo

For the second recipient, I’d like to take a look at the defensive side of the football. In another record performance, Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall intercepted four Jay Cutler passes on the day. The four picks ties a record held by 18 others, and makes Hall the first player to accomplish the feat since Denver’s Deltha O’Neal in 2001. Even more important, Hall’s one-handed interception that was returned for a touchdown late in the third quarter proved to be the difference in the 17-14 Washington victory. Hall also recorded a team-high 7 tackles on the day.

Both of these big time efforts were worthy of being acknowledged for last weekend’s games. Were you a fan of another performance that wasn’t named? Let us know below!
