Nike Basketball has introduced the Elite Series, providing new levels of footwear innovation. The Nike LeBron 9, Kobe VII and Zoom Hyperdunk have all been treated to premium materials and footwear technology that provides players with a competitive edge for the playoffs.
Home and away offerings are served up in traditional white and black-based colorways, accented by trophy-inspired golden accents throughout. The uppers have been re-engineered from inside out to ensure lightweight performance with the use of ultra-high tensile strength Flywire made with Kevlar aramid. Other features include carbon fiber midfoot support shanks, Nike Pro Combat padded collars and special sockliners.

LeBron James continues to kill things in the world of Nike Basketball shoes with this all new purple-based colorway of the LeBron 9.
Imspired by LeBron’s first ever rec-team as a kid known as the Summit Lake Hornets, this latest release of the LeBron 9 dons a sweet purple-dominated color combination. Purple handles most of the upper on these bad boys, while aqua takes care of the Swoosh, tongue liner and midsole down below. One of three colorways releasing this weekend, the “Swingman” LeBron 9 Nike Basketball shoes display a colorway that’s inspired by the Seattle Mariners and the great Ken Griffey Jr. Representing LeBron’s love for Griffey Jr, the LeBron 9 arrives covered in a combination of green abyss and obsidian blue. Hits of white add some contrast throughout, while red accenting completes the classic Seattle Mariners color scheme.

Taking inspiration from last year’s “Pre-Dunkman” colorway of the 8 V/2, the innovative LeBron 9 is hit with a combination of Cool Grey, White and Metallic Silver. Cool Grey and black work most of the Flywire upper, while white adds the perfect amount of contrast on the Swoosh, tongue signature and outsole down below. Officially released this past weekend was the Freegums x Nike LeBron 9 following a limited release earlier this month during Miami’s annual Art Basel. LeBron’s latest Nike Basketball shoes, they feature a Miami-inspired design by local Peruvian artist Freegums.
The Representative collage features a variety of inspirations, including all things LeBron James and the beautiful city of Miami. A simple white, black and red color scheme is put to use on this latest release, allowing Freegums’ unique work to take center stage.
