A couple weeks ago, we got our first look at the Nike Free Zilla Trainer in a simple Black,White and Varsity Red color combination. While the shoe seemed to get mixed reviews, sometimes a simple color change can make a world of difference, so today we have a look at the latest colorway of the Nike Free Zilla Trainer, a combination of Dark Grey, White, and Volt.
The Nike Free Zilla Trainer uses a unique combination of Cushlon technology, and Nike’s Free Technology in an effort to have the best of both worlds from both running shoes and training shoes. Phylon takes up the rest of the midsole, while the Dual Pull upper provides lockdown through a unique lacing system. A breathable mesh upper keeps things cool through your workouts even as the summer temperatures continue to rise.

The Free Zilla Trainer uses light weight materials and tips the scale at just 11.4 ounces.
