Since we’re in NFL Draft mode today preparing to hope our teams can make some good decisions and add some excitement to their squads, it would only be right for us to bring more new football equipment. Today we’ve got a detailed look at another football cleat, the mid-cut Nike Air Zoom Super Bad.

The Nike Air Zoom SUper Bad joins the Nike Zoom Carbon Fly TD and Nike Alpha Speed TD as part of this year’s Nike football cleats arsenal. Equipped with the unmistakeable ankle strap that helps it stand out on the field, this year’s Nike Air Zoom Super Bad 3 D is also set up with Hyperfuse like construction to help keep it as light as possible. The combination of synthetic and mesh is also breathable and durable. Thanks to its inner sleeve design, the Nike Air Zoom Super Bad creates a comfort that makes you feel like its just part of your foot. With a combination of Zoom Air and full length phylon midsole providing responsive cushioning, it’s set up to go all season long. Beneath the cushioning resides a Pebax plate equipped with seven studs as well as additional secondary cleats for the ultimate in traction.

Earlier this month, we saw the arrival of the first of the latest designs for Nike Football, which will likely make their way onto the feet of some the top prospects that will make the leap into professional football.

Following the Nike Zoom Carbon Fly TD and Nike Alpha Speed TD, today’s Eastbay Photo of the Week takes a look at the intricate details of the Nike Air Zoom Super Bad 3D. With its trademark ankle strap and Hyperfuse-like upper the latest version of the Air Zoom Super Bad seems to be as much part artwork as it is football cleat. Although, football players may not need it, the ankle strap proudly displays the Super Bad name.
