In 2008 Nike launched the revolutionary Hyperdunk. In 2009 they released the Nike Hyperize. The latest iteration of that series is the Air Max Hyperize. Sitting atop a basketball specific 360º Air Max bag, the Air Max Hyperize features Nike’s Flywire technology on the upper, a full length Phylon midsole, the traditional herringbone traction pattern on the outsole and multiple vents for more breathability. Eastbay has multiple colors of this model and has added 5 Air Attack colorways to the arsenal as seen below.

Nike Air Max Hyperize Tournament Pack

With a couple days of down time in the NCAA Tournament before the final sixteen teams continue their efforts towards cutting down the nets, let’s take a look at the Nike Air Max Hyperize. Nike gives a nod to the teams in the tournament with varsity colors to go with a number of schools’ team colors.

Four colorways of the Nike Air Max Hyperize, that, in addition to the school colors, all feature tournament detailing paying tribute to the long-standing tradition of cutting down the nets after victory. The tongue tag features images of scissors and basketball nets, which is the memory all the schools are hoping to make.

The Air Max Hyperize is exactly as it sounds, the Nike Hyperize upper, featuring lightweight Flywire technology and an Air Max 360 Unit combined with full length Phylon  in the midsole to provide cushioning and support. Adding a little style to the performance of the Air Max Hyperize is the use of patent leather on the toebox and eyestay panels.
