Yeezys Through The Seasons

Since day one, Eastbay has been proud to offer you the hottest shoes around. We are your destination for Yeezys.

Check out the timeline below to view Eastbay’s journey with the popular kick by Kanye West x adidas Originals.

YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 'Light'

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Light’

The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Light’ drops August 28. It features a tonal grey Primeknit upper with a contrasting orange pull tab on the heel. The lateral side stripe is made with UV-activated yarns that changes color when exposed to sunlight, changing the stripe from grey to orange. Full-length BOOST cushioning and the classic Yeezy outsole complete the look.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Mono Ice’

The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Mono Ice’ is part of the ‘Mono’ pack slated to drop on June 18. The pack consists of three semi-translucent colorways that will each be dropping in different parts of the world. While the ‘Mono Ice’ can be found in North America, the ‘Mono Clay’ can be found in Asia Pacific and China, and the ‘Mono Mist’ will drop in Europe, Africa, India, The Middle East, Russia, Ukraine, and China too.

The upper is made with monofilament mesh which makes it see-through and shows off the inner cage. The shoe is mostly a light blue color, save for the branding strip that is just a shade darker. The matching colors give the shoe a very chromatic feel for a clean look on your feet.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Ash Pearl’

The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 “Ash Pearl” will be launching on March 20, 2021. The shoe features a return to the earth-tone hues that have become fairly standard in the Yeezy line. Three different colors are layered across the upper with a sandy cream on the top, tan in the middle, and dark blue on the bottom. The two-toned gum outsole, a staple, brings the shoe together for a crisp, clean look.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Ash Blue’

The first Yeezy of 2021 has arrived. The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘ASH BLUE’ will be launching on 2/27. In a departure from the recent launches that have featured more earth tones, this shoe indulges in more shades of blue and gray. A yellow, non-transparent lateral side stripe breaks up the flow of the shoe, and the ribbed midsole sets it apart from other Yeezys.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Sand Taupe’

The final Yeezy of 2020 will be launching on 12/19. The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Sand Taupe’ brings back some familiar earthy tones from previous models. The shoe features brown hues with rustic orange weaves running through the lateral vamp. The outsole is a light and dark gum color and there will also be a new lacing system featured.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Core Black/Red’

The YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 ‘CORE BLACK/RED’ is being re-released on 12/5 just in time for the holidays. The shoe is constructed with an all-black Primeknit upper with a matching TPU midsole that covers Boost cushioning. Red stitching on the pull tab matches the red “SPLY-350” lettering on the side panel.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Natural’

Continue to grow your sneaker collection by adding the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Natural’ to your closet. The upper is split into two variations of the titular color, with the top half being a darker shade and the bottom half a lighter shade. The heel pull from several of the past silhouettes has been removed, giving the shoe a cleaner look. This pair will be available on 10/24.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Carbon’

Put together a new look this fall with the adidas Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Carbon’. Sitting atop a translucent outsole is a Primeknit upper with black and gray tones. A solid black stripe runs along the lateral side with matching colored laces.

The adidas Originals Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘ZYON’ drops at 7 a.m. on 7/18/2020. Visit eastbay.com to buy a pair.

Slip on something different with the multi-colored ‘Zyon’ featuring two dual-colored sections of the upper separated by the lateral black stripe. Above the stripe is a grey and off-white pattern while below is dark brown and off-white.

The Yeezys below are no longer available for purchase.

5 Standout Features On The New Nike Free x Metcon

5 Standout Features On The New Nike Free x Metcon

Finding one training shoe capable of tackling all your workout needs can be difficult. The perfect shoe needs to have plenty of support in the heel area for weight lifting, a strong grip for making cuts and climbing ropes, enough flexibility for side-to-side movement and running, and — of course — enough breathability to keep your feet cool and sweat free.

With these features in mind, Nike went to work. The result? The ultra-versatile Nike Free x Metcon. This shoe, a mix between the stable and supportive Nike Metcon and the flexible and lightweight Nike Free, is a training shoe unlike any we’ve ever seen.

Now, athletes have a shoe they can take to the gym and use for any kind of workout. This means no more changing from your lifting shoe to your running shoe halfway through your workout — pretty convenient right?

Nike Free x Metcon Feated

Here are five standout features of the new Nike Free x Metcon:

1. Laser-siped flex grooves in the outsole

Large grooves have been cut into the outsole from the midfoot to the front of the shoe to add flexibility and allow for more natural movement. Nike Free fans, you’ll also find these grooves in the outsoles of most of your favorite models.

2. Comfort-fit bootie

Flexibility and comfort are key throughout the design of this unique shoe. That’s why a comfort-fit bootie was created to allow for easy on and off, a very flexible fit and feel, and plenty of support.

3. Midfoot stability

An issue many people have with training shoes is the ability to make side-to-side movements and cuts. With this newly designed sidewall feature, your heel is cradled in the back of the shoe, allowing your foot to stay better aligned over the footbed when you’re making your cuts.

4. Open mesh upper

Breathability is one of the biggest features athletes look for in their workout shoes, and the Free x Metcon gives you plenty of it. This durable mesh material is opened up, allowing for plenty of airflow while continuing to give you the stability and flexibility you want.

5. Dual-density midsole with cold fusion technology

Safety and the comfort of your foot are obviously number one when it comes to training, and this is where the dual-density midsole comes into play. Cold fusion technology essentially is soft foam placed within a firmer carrier to provide you with underfoot cushioning with plenty of stability underneath.

The Nike Free x Metcon is a much different training shoe than we’ve ever seen before, and within the new design is a lot of versatility and comfort specifically built to help take you to the next level. Check out the Free x Metcon now at eastbay.com.

3 Reasons You Need The New Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit 2

Vapormax 2 Story

A year ago, Nike launched one of their most innovative Air Max shoes of all time. The Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit eliminated all unnecessary layers between your foot and the shoe’s cushioning, delivering a streamlined, ultra-responsive fit that looked and felt amazing on your foot.

Now, just in time for Air Max Day, Nike’s making subtle updates to these head-turning kicks. Here’s what you need to know about the new Nike Air VaporMax Flyknit 2:

1. Easy On And Off

This update to the VaporMax keeps the premium Flyknit upper of the original but adds a handy pull tab at the heel for quick and easy on and off.

2. Secure Fit

External reinforcements have also been added to the heel, delivering a snug, secure fit through your run or all-day wear.

3. Low-Key Look

Featuring a slimmer Swoosh than the first VaporMax, this revamp lets the shoe’s innovative silhouette do all the talking.

ASICS HyperGEL Kenzen: Built For Every Mile And Every Style

ASICS HyperGEL Kenzen: Built For Every Mile And Every Style

ASICS HyperGEL Kenzen Story

Whether you’re a serious runner or just in touch with the latest trends, there’s no doubt you’ve rocked a pair of ASICS. The footwear company is well-known for both their cutting-edge performance shoes and their stylish casual sneakers. And now, with their latest model, they’ve taken their expertise from both worlds and combined it into one game-changing shoe. Let’s meet the ASICS HyperGEL Kenzen and break down why it’s perfect for every part of your day.

A Completely New Level Of Cushioning

ASICS HyperGEL Kenzen Cushioning

ASICS’ signature GEL system has been the gold standard for cushioning and responsiveness in shoes for years now. Yet, somehow, they’ve found a way to create something even better with the all-new HyperGEL. That proven GEL cushioning is mixed in with eTPU for seemingly limitless bounce and springiness while giving your foot the plush comfort it deserves.

Style That Flashes

ASICS HyperGEL Kenzen Heel

Runners are going to love the reflective heel patch on the HyperGEL Kenzen while running at night – but it’s more than just a safety feature, it’s a style statement, too. A shoe this fresh deserves to shine, and this heel patch is that little touch you need to stand out next to all your friends and family.

A Fit You Won’t Believe

ASICS HyperGEL Kenzen Upper

Plenty of brands claim that their sneakers offer a ‘sock-like fit’ these days, but thanks to the premium knit materials that make up the HyperGEL Kenzen’s upper, this shoe truly does hug your foot comfortably like your go-to pair of socks. You’ll be getting an unbeatable feel and reduced friction, whether pushing the pace or just lounging around.

Peace In Every Step

ASICS HyperGEL Kenzen Symbols

The ASICS credo is ‘Sound Mind, Sound Body’ and you’ll be carrying those words with you everywhere thanks to the Japanese Kanji characters stamped on the heel and removable insole of this shoe. The character on the left foot translates to “mind” while the one on the right foot translates to “body.” Words to live by and work toward.

So no matter what you’ll use them for, it’s easy to see that the ASICS HyperGEL Kenzen shoes are up to the task. Make sure to grab your favorite pair on March 20 and get ready to rock it 24/7/365.
