Tonight, 32 hopefuls will realize their pro football dreams at the 2013 NFL Draft at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. The Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars and Oakland Raiders hold the top three picks, each expected to start their respective rebuilding processes by selecting lineman. When tonight’s selections are made, the newest stars of the NFL will be welcomed with official NFL Draft Hats by New Era.
This year’s lineup includes the 59FIFTY, 9FIFTY Snapback and 39THIRTY. Players will wear the 59FIFTY, featuring an all-over team color and large team logo embroidered on the front. Agents and inner circles will be given the 9FIFTY Snapback, which sports a similar look. Remaining members of each players’s crew will wear the 39THIRTY, built with stretch-fit materials.
If you’re looking to celebrate your favorite team’s newest acquisition, all three of these New Era Hat styles are available now.
After another trying season that saw the team end the year with a 22-44 record, the New Jersey Nets have officially relocated to Brooklyn, where they’ll tip off the 2012-2013 season playing in the brand new $1 billion dollar Barclays Center arena. Earlier this week, the Brooklyn Nets held a media event to unveil the team’s new logo and colors. Created by minority owner, hip hop icon and Brooklyn native Jay-Z, the new primary logo retains the shield from its previous iteration, and adds the Brooklyn ‘B’ to the basketball that has been part of every logo since the franchise’s 1967 inception as the Americans. The logo is also inspired by the Brooklyn Dodgers, who used a similar lettermark on their logo and caps. Brooklyn is also spelled out below.
The secondary logo is a ‘B’ inside a basketball, surrounded by the words “Brooklyn New York.”
For fans anxious to proudly display the new B-branded logo, New Era has already released two 59Fifty Fitted Caps, featuring both the primary and secondary team logos. You can pick up each cap today at Eastbay.
