One of the most popular New Balance shoes is the 574. The former performance running shoe has become a staple in the world of casual comfort over the years thanks to its simple comfort and appealing price point. Just in time to head back to school, a trio of new suede colorways is now available.
The combination of suede and mesh is always a popular style but with the New Balance 574, details like the 3M reflective accents on the side panel and heel, make it even more appealing. The new colorways include a Black/Silver/Red makeup, a version in Blue and Silver, and a third in a unique makeup featuring a blue mesh toebox and matching metallic New Balance ‘N’ logo.

When it comes to casual sneakers, New Balance has a number of popular designs but none is more versatile, or more of a fan favorite than the 574. The New Balance 574 has been reworked countless times in new colorways, and more often than not the iconic grey that has become synonymous with New Balance is the go to choice for fans of the Massachusetts based company.
This summer, however, New Balance has taken a new approach to the 574 with some familiar colorways. Although the colorways may strike a chord with some, it’s the details that separate this summer collection. Rather than the standard “N” logo applied to the lateral side uses an embroidered version for some extra pop. The top lace hole is also features embroidered details to match the New Balance logo. A chrome label is applied to the tongue, replacing the traditional stitched on version. Support and cushioning are aided by New Balance’s Encap technology which is fitted from the heel to the midfoot area.
With basketball season beginning to take over the sports world, consequently the shoes that make their way onto peoples feet often show that bias as well during this time of the year. However, there are some quality options being released that fall outside the categories of LeBron shoes or Kobe shoes. There are a handful of casual classics that seem to find their way onto a wide variety wearers from all different age groups. One of them has just been recreated in some new colorways for the winter.

A mesh toebox reduces unwanted creasing and and Blue and Salmon colored accents give a touch of spice to the otherwise subtle colorways.
