Despite coming up on the losing end of his latest encounter with Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao is still one of the greatest and most beloved boxers of all-time. Continuing to celebrate Manny’s legendary career and commitment to excellence, Nike introduces the latest shoe from the popular Pacquiao collection.
Getting the call this time is the Lunar TR1, sporting a heavily ventilated Cool Grey Hyperfuse upper lined with blue mesh for increased breathability. Blue also works the tongue, laces and Lunarlon midsole, which sits atop a translucent rubber outsole. The shoe also features reflective branding and logos, “Believe” above the toeboxes and custom insoles.

Next month, Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez will step in the ring once again to complete their epic trilogy of fights. Their previous two fights resulted in a draw and controversial split decision, setting the stage for this upcoming bout to be a score-settling fight for the ages. As is the case for all Pacquiao fights, Nike will gear up for the big day by releasing some special apparel and footwear, including this Pacquiao-inspired Trainer 1.3 Max Breathe.
These Nike training shoes add a highly perforated Hyperfuse composite upper to Nike’s latest flagship training silhouette. Pacquiao’s new colorway is white-based with a healthy amount of varsity red spotted on the tongue, inner lining and wrapping the heel. Royal blue works Swoosh branding on the side panels, while minimal hits of yellow appear on the upper lace eyelets. The midsole and 360-Max Air unit feature a red to blue fade effect, supported by a translucent rubber outsole.
The date of the fight, November 12, 2011, is noted in yellow on the toebox. Additionally, Pacquiao graphics appear on the partially-split tongue and his logo appears on the heel.
