Last week, I named Alabama stud and reigning Heisman RB Mark Ingram my College Player of the Week. This Week, Michigan QB Denard Robinson and Oregon RB LaMichael James are the first ever College Football Co-Players of the Week.

Robinson led the 19th-ranked Michigan Wolverines to a 42-35 win over the Indiana Hoosiers in which he was 10-for-16 passing, including completions for 17, 42 and 74 yards. His three TD passes came on strikes from 32, 3 and 70 yards respectively. He finished with 277 yards in the air. He was also dangerous on the ground, rushing 19 times for 217 yards. He ran for a 72-yard TD on Michigan’s first offensive possession and scored on a 4-yard run with 17 seconds left in the game. After an impressive win over Indiana, Michigan jumps one spot to #18 this week in the NCAA College Football rankings. I also named Robinson my Week 2 College Football Player of the Week.

He scored on a 5-yard run in the second quarter, a 3-yard run in the third quarter and broke a 76-yarder with one minute left in the game. The Ducks jumped ahead of Boise State in the rankings, moving up to #3 in the country.
