For skaters looking for a little extra protection during fall and winter, DC Shoes founder and pro rally car racer Ken Block has designed this new boot-style skate shoe, the DC Shoes KB Versatile Hi WR. Featuring a soft suede and leather build, the KB Versatile Hi WR is coated with Performalite, a lightweight polyurethane material that enhances water resistance. Below, a mid-length airbag provides superior cushioning, while an abrasion-resistant stick rubber outsole enhances traction.
The KB Versatile Hi WR available now sports the famous Ken Block black and lime colorway. Block personalization cues include the drip pattern on the side panels, a collage of Ken Block elements in grey wrapped around the heel, Block’s skull logo on the tongue and his car number “43” on the heel. Taking things to the next level, the lightweight KB Boost features DC’s unlite foam for maximum cushioning and flexibility. Built to last, the KB Boost also utilizes rubber reinforcements in high-abrasion areas to make for one of the most durable skate shoes DC has to offer.
DC Co-Founder Ken Block’s edition arrives to us just like the rest of his collection, working in a combination of grey, black and neon green. Ken’s signature skull branding is seen on the tongue and sockliner, along with the paint drip covering the Unilite sole.

Introduced as part of the first-ever DC TeamWorks Collection back in 2009 by brand founder Ken Block, the Spartan High WC is a high-cut performance shoe with crossover appeal. The Spartan High is available now at Eastbay in an all-new colorway.
The Block Spartan High features a durable action leather upper with thick padding in the tongue and collar for additional support. Perforations in the toebox and a mesh tongue keep the shoe ventilated, while hidden elastic straps keep the tongue secure. Protective lace guards are put in place to extend the life of your laces. The sole, which appears to be vulcanized, is actually cupsole constructed with a rubber wrap. Below sits an abrasion-resistant rubber outsole with DC’s trademark pill-pattern traction.
Done in Block’s signature colorway, soft lime green leather takes care of the upper on this particular pair, with drip detailing on the side panels. Grey hits the lace eyelets, inner lining, tongue and heel. The midsole is finished off with a gum rubber underside. Other details include the Huck Gee Skull Logo and Block’s number 34 on the heel.

This season of the World Rally Championships has been a challenging one for co-founder the of DC Shoes, Ken Block. With only 2 rallies remaining this year, it’s unsure if Block and his Monster World Rally Team will be able to score any points this season. He did however have a solid outing in France finishing 12th and receiving the “Spirit of the Rally” award as well. As the only American to field a team in recent years, and with help of over 50 million view to his Gymkhana viral video series, Block still remains the “golden child” for American Rally fans.
Ken Block’s latest signature model from DC Shoes features his iconic skull logo designed by Huck Gee on the ankle. Block’s car number 43 is used in an all-over print on accenting panels and the black and neon green found on his Ford Focus are the same colors found on the Spartan High. The latest colorway of the Block Spartan High comes with perfect timing as the Rally de España takes place this coming weekend in Spain.
