A key element in the Kansas City Chiefs’ unexpected run to the AFC West title last season was rookie safety Eric Berry, who recorded 92 tackles and four interceptions on the year. With his outstanding play, Berry was voted to represent the AFC in the Pro Bowl.
Berry is also one of the faces of adidas Football and has been selected to be the primary figure behind the brand’s marketing campaign for the adiZero 5-Star cleat. The adiZero 5-Star, which tips the scales at 6.8 ounces, is the lightest available football cleat by more than three ounces over the nearest competitor. An already-quick Berry becomes an even faster threat when he laces up the new adidas football cleats.
Fans of Berry, the Kansas City Chiefs and adidas Football will have an opportunity to chat with the Pro Bowl safety tomorrow afternoon here at Eastbay. Chat participants will be able to ask the defensive star questions and view his response live at www.Eastbay.com/adidas/. During the chat, Berry will showcase the adiZero 5-Star.
The Eric Berry live chat starts tomorrow (Wednesday, July 20th) at 8:00 p.m. EST.
Over the past several months, the adidas NOW portal at Eastbay.com has hosted chats with star athletes such as Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls, B.J. Upton of the Tampa Bay Rays and U.S. sprinter Tyson Gay. Adidas and Eastbay will continue to run athlete video chats throughout the year.
