With the X-Games taking over Los Angeles this weekend, we’ve seen a lot of special releases coming from DC Shoes. To go along with the Travis Pastrana and Robbie Maddison editions we’ve seen earlier this week, DC brings another collaboration just in time for the X-Games 17 action to begin.
For this version of the DC Shoes Versaflex, DC has teamed up with the folks from Nitro Circus. Nitro Circus, also sponsors of many X-Games athletes, has their lightning bomb logo printed across the background of the DC logo on the side panel. The Black and Grey base of the colorway is accented in the Red, White and Blue of the Nitro Circus colors. On the function side of things, an ImpactFX midsole and full length air bag provide cushioning, as the key fex grooves of the outsole make the Versaflex capable of taking on just about any sport you can dream up.

DC Shoes made a name for themselves through the sport of skateboarding. However, in recent years they’ve become a major player in the world of all-action sports, including BMX, motocross, surfing and even rally racing thanks to Co-Founder Ken Block’s success in motor sports.
The DC Shoes VersaFlex is a shoe that is capable of keeping up with all the rigors of any sport you may take on. It also has a design that doesn’t let you down if you’ve never forgotten your first love of skateboarding, making it a great representation of DC Shoes. Cushioning on the VersaFlex is supplied by a full-length Airbag, and despite its traditional sneaker appearance, it features flex grooves that help this cupsole design offer up as much board control as its vulcanized sole counterparts. On top of that, it has a heel counter and DC’s sticky rubber pill pattern outsole, which offers up stability and control.
