It is impossible to overstate the impact Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. made on modern society. The civil rights leader was a champion for racial equality and social justice, and his words and actions have inspired and will continue to inspire millions of individuals throughout the world. His reach has extended into sports, where athletes from all backgrounds have felt his impact.
