ADIDAS ULTRA BOOST ‘MULTICOLOR’ – JULY 15 AT 10 AM ET
It’s no secret that the Ultra Boost is one of the hottest shoes in the game right now. Its comfortable feel and streamlined silhouette offer the perfect summer style. Add a multicolored upper for a pop of color and the Ultra Boost ‘Rainbow’ colorway just might be one of the hottest Ultra Boosts yet. For Boost fans, this is a definite must-cop. Men’s $199.99, Grade School $179.99.
NIKE KD X ‘CONNOISSEUR’ – JULY 14 AT 10 AM ET
KD is cold on the court. He’s locked in like never before, and if his performance on basketball’s biggest stage is any indication, the man has got ice in his veins. The KD X ‘Connoisseur’ is iced out with a grey upper and light green accents for a fresh look. The KD X also offers some of the best on-court performance of any shoe out there right now, so you’re getting the best of both worlds. Men’s $149.99, Grade School $124.99.
ADIDAS DAME 3 ‘STATIC’ – JULY 14 AT 10 AM ET
Following up on the success of past iterations, the new Dame 3 will also get outfitted with the ‘Static’ colorway this weekend. Damian Lillard has been doubted his whole career. Dame blocked out the noise and rose above it all. Now, he’s a certified superstar, and one of the most lethal players in the game. Likewise, the Dame 3 is one of the top performing shoes in the game. Men’s $114.99, Grade School $84.99.
Damian Lillard is dropping some serious heat with two new colorways of the Dame 3. Lillard’s third signature shoe is his best yet and the new colorways are some of our favorites. We’ll break down the two latest colorways below, but the shoe’s tech also deserves some recognition.
BOUNCE cushioning keeps you energized all day long, while a breathable mesh upper keeps you feeling fresh. A booty construction locks the foot down securely and a customizable lacing system lets you tailor the fit to your individual taste. The Dame 3 is all about on-court performance, and if Damian Lillard’s 26 points, six assists, and five rebounds per game are any indication, the shoe can flat out get the job done.
Dame 3 ‘Black/Black’
Inspired by Damian Lillard’s shooting and clutch performances, the all-black colorway is a nod to his ability to finish off a game. Lillard has developed into one of the game’s most lethal guards in crunch time, so adidas wanted to create a shoe that matched his mentality and ability to come up big when the game is on the line. Once he gets the ball in his hands, the arena might as well fade to black because the game is about to be over.
The colorway is specifically inspired by Lillard’s 51-point performance against Golden State in 2016 and his game-winner in the playoffs against Houston in 2014.
Dame 3 ‘Wasatch Front’
The ‘Wasatch Front’ colorway pays tribute to Lillard’s triumphs as he transitioned from a young kid in Oakland to a rising star in college. “Wasatch Front” is the name of the second track off of Damian Lillard’s debut rap album. In the song, Lillard raps about his journey from his hometown of Oakland to his college town of Ogden, Utah, which was a key period in Lillard’s personal and professional development.
The colorway is named after the mountain range bordering Ogden that rises to create the Wasatch Front, a stretch of land that spans across Utah. The shoe represents his college colors with a dark grey upper, white BOUNCE cushioning, light grey accents, a purple sockliner, and matching three stripes on the outsole.
