This summer’s competitions may have come to a close, but Jordan is still dropping colorways inspired by the games. The Retro 5 ‘Bronze’ gets its nickname from the bronze tongue that stands out against the navy upper. The shark teeth design on the midsole that the Retro 5 is famous for is also bronze. NIKE KOBE 11 LOW ‘FUNDAMENTAL’ – SEPTEMBER 24 AT 10 AM ET

The Black Mamba’s playing career came to an end last season, but his newest sneakers are inspired by Kobe’s basketball beginnings. The Kobe 11 ‘Fundamental’ pays tribute to Kobe learning the game before he revolutionized it. The shoe comes in a white, black, and cool grey color scheme with Nike Flywire and an icy outsole. NIKE KYRIE 2 ‘SPECKLE’ – SEPTEMBER 24 AT 10 AM ET

Kyrie Irving is prepping to defend his title as a new season draws closer, but before that we get a new colorway of the Kyrie 2. The strap and midsole feature bright crimson speckles, giving the shoe its nickname. An icy outsole adds some flare to finish the look. Men’s $119.99, Grade School $99.99.

UNDER ARMOUR CURRY 2.5 – SEPTEMBER 24 AT 10 AM ET

While Irving looks to defend his title, Curry is hoping to reach the sport’s pinnacle once again after a disappointing ending last year. His popular Curry 2.5 shoe releases in two different colorways this weekend. Men’s $134.99.

Inspired by this summer’s competitions, the Jordan Retro 5 will release in a white, black, and gold color scheme. The shoe features splashes of gold throughout, most notably on the tongue, referencing success on the world’s biggest stage. NIKE KD 9 ‘BIRDS OF PARADISE’ – AUGUST 19 AT 10 AM ET

The newest KD 9 was unveiled during Kevin Durant’s most recent trip to China as part of the Nike Basketball tour. While the inspiration behind the shoe hasn’t been revealed yet, the color scheme is sure to grab attention with the Flyknit upper displaying a mixture of teal and green. The vibrant colors will likely make this version of the KD 9 incredibly popular. Men’s $149.99, Grade School $124.99.

UNDER ARMOUR CURRY 2.5 – AUGUST 21 AT 10 AM ET

The reigning MVP drops another version of his extremely popular Curry 2.5. Stephen Curry has been one of the game’s most dominant players for the past few seasons. His success on the court is turning into success off the court, with the Curry 2.5 ascending to a place among the most popular basketball shoes in the industry. If you haven’t found a Curry 2.5 color scheme you like yet, this may be the one. Men’s $134.99.

Retro 7

JORDAN RETRO 7 ‘ALTERNATE’ – AUGUST 6 AT 10 AM ET

One of the biggest Retro releases of the year drops this weekend: the Retro 7 ‘Alternate.’ The shoe is a new twist on the classic sneaker Michael Jordan wore in the summer of 1992 when he helmed arguably the best basketball team ever assembled.

That 1992 team set a standard of play that every U.S. team since has tried to live up to, and Jordan’s shoe quickly became a fan favorite among sneaker heads. The Retro 7 was again released in 2012, and the 2016 version is a new take on the classic shoe. Returning to the spotlight, an alternate version of such a classic kick is a must-have for many collectors.

Under Armour is dropping two Curry 2.5s this weekend, with both editions coming in patriotic colorways ahead of this summer’s competitions. The shoe that started it all gets two releases this weekend with the Yin Yang Pack. The Retro 1 is on a roll after four different AJ 1s were released last week. The Yin Yang Pack features a mostly white shoe with black accents, and a mostly black shoe with white accents. Men’s $159.99, Grade School $119.99.

ADIDAS CRAZYLIGHT BOOST LOW 2016 JAMES HARDEN PE – AUGUST 5 AT 10 AM ET

adidas is dropping another James Harden PE this weekend after releasing the Crazylight Boost Liberty version a few weeks ago. The new edition comes in a black and gold look that provides some flash, but the shoe also focuses heavily on functionality. The full-length Boost cushioning system provides added bounce at the rim and a quicker first step, so players like Harden are even tougher to guard.

Some of the world’s best youth basketball players sported the shoe at the adidas Nations championships this summer, too. Players from Team Harden wore the sneaker as they took home the title. Men’s $129.99.

The offseason is a little sweeter after a championship. At Cleveland’s celebratory parade, Kyrie Irving rocked his latest signature shoe, the aptly named Nike Kyrie 2 ‘Parade.’ The shoe has a simple black and white color scheme, but it catches the eye with a bold floral graphic on the midfoot strap. Nike is bringing back the Hyperdunk, which debuted eight years ago, for this summer’s competitions. A few colorways of the Hyperdunk ’08 have already been released, and this edition comes in monochromatic Volt. Men’s $149.99

Stephen Curry’s signature shoe continues to drop in new colorways. This weekend’s offering comes in blue heat, black, and hi-vis yellow, and is sure to turn heads. The Curry 2.5 has been a strong performer for Under Armour with a lot of unique looks, and this new colorway is pushing that boundary even further. The Curry 2.5 was a popular choice for athletes at the Fab48 last weekend.

This newest D Lillard 2 colorway gets a patriotic look just in time for this summer’s competitions. Damian Lillard’s signature sneaker comes in a white and royal colorway with gold accents on the tongue. There are also splashes of color that resemble fireworks throughout the shoe. Men’s $119.99.

UNDER ARMOUR CURRY 2.5 – JULY 23 AT 10 AM ET

The Curry 2.5 is preparing for football season. Curry’s newest release is a nod to San Francisco’s football team, with a red and black colorway. The Curry 2.5 has loyally payed homage to the Bay Area, and this latest release stays true to that, despite Curry being a noted fan of Carolina’s football team.

NIKE HYPERDUNK ‘08 ‘UNITED WE RISE’ – JULY 23 AT 10 AM ET

The string of patriotic Nike releases continues in preparation for this summer’s competitions. The Hyperdunk ’08 gets a USA-themed colorway this weekend, just like the Kyrie 2, Soldier 10, and Hyperdunk Flyknit did earlier this month. The Hyperdunk was originally released back in 2008, and developed into one of Nike’s top basketball performance shoes.
