Retro 7

JORDAN RETRO 7 ‘ALTERNATE’ – AUGUST 6 AT 10 AM ET

One of the biggest Retro releases of the year drops this weekend: the Retro 7 ‘Alternate.’ The shoe is a new twist on the classic sneaker Michael Jordan wore in the summer of 1992 when he helmed arguably the best basketball team ever assembled.

That 1992 team set a standard of play that every U.S. team since has tried to live up to, and Jordan’s shoe quickly became a fan favorite among sneaker heads. The Retro 7 was again released in 2012, and the 2016 version is a new take on the classic shoe. Returning to the spotlight, an alternate version of such a classic kick is a must-have for many collectors.

Jordan Retro 7 Launch

A clothing collection that hooks in with the new release is also available at Eastbay. Now you can honor the greatest team of all time by repping the kicks and the gear. Hats, shirts, shorts and more from the Retro 7 collection can be found here. Men’s $189.99, Grade School $139.99, Preschool $79.99, Toddler $59.99.

adidas Harden PE

ADIDAS CRAZYLIGHT BOOST LOW 2016 JAMES HARDEN PE – AUGUST 5 AT 10 AM ET

adidas is dropping another James Harden PE this weekend after releasing the Crazylight Boost Liberty version a few weeks ago. The new edition comes in a black and gold look that provides some flash, but the shoe also focuses heavily on functionality. The full-length Boost cushioning system provides added bounce at the rim and a quicker first step, so players like Harden are even tougher to guard.

Some of the world’s best youth basketball players sported the shoe at the adidas Nations championships this summer, too. Players from Team Harden wore the sneaker as they took home the title. Men’s $129.99.

Nike Kyrie 2

NIKE KYRIE 2 ‘PARADE’ – AUGUST 6 AT 10 AM ET

The offseason is a little sweeter after a championship. At Cleveland’s celebratory parade, Kyrie Irving rocked his latest signature shoe, the aptly named Nike Kyrie 2 ‘Parade.’ The shoe has a simple black and white color scheme, but it catches the eye with a bold floral graphic on the midfoot strap. Men’s $119.99, Grade School $99.99
