Based on the classic original Star Player worn by Julius Erving, we bring you a detailed look at the innovative Converse Star Player Evo. Updated with today’s technology from Converse, the Star Player Evo offers an ultra-breathable upper and an updated heel counter that provides maximum lockdown.
The best feature is perhaps Converse’s innovative Con-Tain Fit Technology, providing an all-around comfortable fit, no matter the foot shape, thanks to a nice allowance of memory foam. Colorways available from Eastbay include the always-popular red, white and blue combo, as well as a royal-based look and a grey-dominated makeup.

The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star is arguably one of the greatest shoes of all time. It might not be packed with groundbreaking technology, or even have any technology at all, but that doesn’t stop it from being one of the most popular models of all time. The simple and straightforward style once worn on the basketball courts when it was first created is worn nearly everywhere today.
The Converse Star Player FP is based off of the iconic Chuck Taylor, but has a few tastefully done extra details. The Star Player features the Converse Chevron logo on the side panels, a reinforced lace eyelet panel, and a padded collar. Both low- and high-top versions are now available.
