The Under Armour ‘State Pack’ football cleats are back again for the UA All-American Game and they are better than ever. By creating special versions of the Highlight MCs for each of the 10 most represented states at the AAG, players can match their pride and style to their elite game. Don’t see your state? There’s a special USA version too. Let’s break down all of the designs.
It’s time to turn your country pride up to 11. From a Bald Eagle to Mount Rushmore to Lady Liberty herself, this cleat has so much patriotism on it that it’ll cause bystanders to spontaneously break into choruses of “America the Beautiful.”
The Sunshine State cleat brings the heat by taking its design to the beach. The beach ball, popular fish, and Surf’s Up slogan celebrate the sand and waves as you tear up the gridiron.
The Lone Star State is home to many of the nation’s top 5-star recruits so their special cleat better bring it. By including everything from cacti to tacos, oil to cowboys, these really show why nobody messes with Texas.
A California cleat better be ready for the bright lights and this one delivers. The movie star and Hollywood touches get you ready to leave the red carpet and enter the red zone.
For football players with Georgia on their mind, these fresh cleats fit the bill. State staples like music and burgers are highlighted and iconic locales like Augusta help ensure that your style stays just peachy.
Alabama and football go hand in hand. So it’s fitting that their colorway focuses on everything that makes the state stand out. Popular nicknames like the Heart of Dixie and mottos like ‘Alabama the Beautiful’ are a major key to this cleat.
The Louisiana model brings the party to the gridiron in a big way. With Mardi Gras beads and masks, saxophones and music notes, wild nights in the Big Easy are repped perfectly on these cleats.
Of course, the futuristic Terrapins logo plays a big part of this cleat, but the Maryland love doesn’t stop there. A historical figure (Edgar Allan Poe), a popular cuisine (crab), and a famous nickname (Old Line State) all help bring to light what makes this state truly special.
A state so rich in history deserves a cleat rich with style. The Keystone State cleat pays homage to its legendary native son Ben Franklin as well as its status as the birthplace of the Constitution and the Gettysburg Address.
From the Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field to the historical Union Stockyard to the awe-inspiring Sears Tower, famous landmarks litter the design of these Illinois cleats. Players hungry for touchdowns will love the Chicago-style hot dog and deep-dish pizza patterns as well.
At the heart of it all, though, we get to Ohio. With both the Rock and Roll and Pro Football Halls of Fame featured on these cleats, it’s easy to see why the state is the center of the universe for so many top-flight football stars.
In addition to the cleats, we have special gloves for each state as well. Make sure to complete your look!
Which state will you rock? Let us know in the comments.

This past Saturday, the Texas A&M Aggies and Mississippi State Bulldogs faced each other in a rare matchup, clashing for the first time since their classic meeting in the 2000 Independence Bowl. Dubbed the “Snow Bowl,” that game was played in the middle of a massive snowstorm that dumped on Shreveport from whistle to whistle. The viewing audience could barely get a grasp on the action, as the flurries resembled static on television screens. Described as one of the most memorable bowl games of all-time, Mississippi State walked way with a slim 43-41 overtime victory.
For this year’s game between the same two teams, adidas supplied both schools with special “Snow Bowl” TECHFIT uniforms, paying tribute to their epic showdown 12 years ago.
Texas A&M wore a uniform that wasn’t maroon or white-based for the first time since the 1920s. The Aggies debuted an all-black version of their Lone Star TECHFIT uniform, trimmed with traditional maroon. Their black helmet featured the Lone Star logo and a fade to metallic maroon on the back. The Lone Star logo also appears on the back of the jersey, the base layer and adizero Smoke gloves.
Mississippi State’s “Snow Bowl” uniform is inspired by the famous 2000 snow-filled game versus Texas A&M. The jersey and pants are all-white with silver trim and metallic silver numbers. There’s a matte white finish on the helmet with a large silver metallic bulldog graphic, matching facemask and large Mississippi State logo on the back. Rounding out the all-white look are adizero Smoke gloves, Team Speed vertical socks and adizero Smoke cleats.
Twelve years later, the result was a bit different. Behind a rushing attack that outgained Mississippi State 361 to 98 and found the endzone five times, Texas A&M dominated Saturday’s game by a score of 38-13.
Check out a few game shots and a take a closer look at the “Snow Bowl” tribute uniforms below.

There is no question that the biggest award handed out amongst college football is The Heisman Trophy Award. This year’s choice might not have been cut and dry when the NCAA football season began but as the season progressed, even amongst what seemed to be endless allegations of wrongdoing, Auburn’s Cameron Newton was the greatest athlete on the football field this year.
After the Heisman Trophy Trust stripped Reggie Bush of his 2005 trophy earlier in the year, there was speculation by fans and critics that the Heisman Trophy Trust would not vote for Cam Newton after allegations that Newton, and his father violated NCAA regulations.
This weekend however, the Heisman Trophy voters gave Cam Newton the most prestigious honor in college football. Newton becomes the third winner from the Auburn Tigers organization, first since Bo Jackson won it twenty-five years ago. The voting was nowhere near close as Newton grabbed 729 first place votes to beat out Stanford Cardinal’s quarterback Andrew Luck by a margin of 2,263 points to 1,079.
Despite all of the off the field distractions that have seemed to be constantly trying to tarnish Cam Newton’s image, when it came to game day, he was virtually unstoppable. Newton threw for 2,589 yards this year for the Tigers, completing 67.1 percent of his passes to finish the season with a rating of 188.16. Of his 165 completed passes, 28 of them went for touchdowns. However what made Newton even more of a threat this season, and has most analysts predicting him as a high-to-middle first round pick in the NFL Draft is his ability to run the ball as well. Newton’s 242 carries netted him an additional 1409 yards of offense and another 20 touchdowns. Finishing the season with 48 touchdowns and 3,998 yards of total offense, Cam Newton easily out performed other Heisman candidates but also entire schools.
After winning the SEC title in a crushing defeat of South Carolina and winning the Heisman Trophy Award, the only question is what will be Cam Newton be adding to his growing legacy next?
Controversy and accusations seem to be continually surfacing around Auburn quarterback Cam Newton but watching him play you would never guess it. Regardless of the possible off field questions, there is no denying that on the field, Newton is one of the best athletes in college football. Saturday’s performance in the SEC Championship game against South Carolina is solid evidence of that as Newton led the Tigers to a crushing defeat of the Gamecocks in possibly his best performance of his collegiate career.
Newton was cleared of any wrong doing by the NCAA recently and in his last game before next weekend’s Heisman Trophy Award announcement, Newton put an exclamation point on an impressive season for Auburn. Saturday he was 17 for 28 passing with 335 yards and 4 touchdown passes. Newton also ran for 75 yards and 2 touchdowns as the Tigers easily defeated South Carolina 56-17. Newton finishes the season with a team leading 2589 yards passing and 1409 yards rushing. As the main source of Auburn’s offense, Newton threw for 28 touchdowns this year and ran for an additional 20 touchdowns.
Could anyone else win the Heisman Trophy?
After Saturday, it’s not looking very likely.
