Much like the Air Carnivore, the Air Jordan 8 also released originally in 1993. In terms of design, the cross-straps are an easy way to see what era the Jordan 8 originated in. Though it has been a few years since a significant number of Air Jordan 8 colorways have been available, Jordan Brand has launched the Air Jordan Fusion line to fill the demand.

The latest colorway should be instantly on the map for Pittsburgh fans, as the combination of white, black and varsity maize is a perfect match for the city’s sports teams. Though this isn’t an original Jordan 8 colorway, the combination of colors is solid and typically a popular colorway amongst sneaker fanatics.

The “Aqua” colorway of the Air Jordan 8 is arguably the greatest colorway of the Air Jordan lineup. It has been seen on the feet of athletes and celebrities alike. This month the Air Jordan Fusion 8, which combines upper of the classic Air Jordan 8 with the equally classic Air Force 1 sole, gets the popular color treatment.

Not only the Dark Concord and Aquatone colors of the classic, but details like the tongue logo made of carpet material and ankle straps are also noticeably present. Newer style cues include a leather wrapped midsole, and a full length Air unit. A lace tag featuring both the Jumpman logo and the “AF-1” namesake add the final touches to this hybrid style.
