Part of the reason Nike’s original trainers are so iconic is how well they hold up over time in terms of performance and style. We’re seeing the same kind of appeal with the recently introduced Nike Trainers, which continue to release in new colorways after first surfacing two years ago. One of the models showing signs of a lengthy run is the Air Max Trainer 1+ Low, which is now available in a fresh look.
With the history of Nike Training having such deep ties to Bo Jackson, expect this look to draw an “Auburn” nickname due to its colorway. The shoe features an obsidian nubuck and synthetic upper, with white working the laces, toebox, upper ankle and Swoosh. Team Orange accents the Swoosh border and branding on the tongue tag and midfoot cross-strap, as well as the large 36o-Max Air unit supporting the shoe below.
