The Air Jordan 1 KO was originally released in 1985 to compliment the leather Air Jordan 1 game shoe. A lightweight, yet durable canvas upper gave the shoe a casual feel, while retaining the classic look.
This weekend, the Air Jordan 1 KO returns, this time featuring a black canvas base with sport blue accents. The look mirrors the popular ‘Royal’ colorway of the Air Jordan 1.
Grab a pair of these classic Jordan shoes at Eastbay for $140 this Saturday, August 23 at 8:00 a.m. EST / 7:00 a.m. CST. Follow @Eastbay on Twitter and @OfficialEastbay on Instagram for all release information and updates.

Originally released in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 KO (or AJKO) was one of the most sought after pieces for sneaker collectors. Somewhat of an anomaly, the shoe is a canvas-constructed version of the Air Jordan 1, complete with Nike Vandal tooling that has a concentric circle design outsole with anatomical flex grooves. In 2010, Jordan Brand decided appease loyalists with the first ever AJKO retro. Since then, we’ve seen a few additional runs of the classic, the latest kicking off here this weekend.
Tomorrow, you’ll be able to get your hands on the original ‘Bulls’ colorway. The shoe takes on Chicago’s famous white, red and black scheme, highlighted by OG-style ‘Nike Air’ branding on the tongue in place of the modern Jumpman.
These Jordan shoes will release here tomorrow for $140 at 8:00 a.m. EST / 7:00 a.m. CST. Follow @Eastbay on Twitter and @OfficialEastbay on Instagram for all release information and updates.
