Right now the popularity of minimalist everything seems to be on every company’s mind. However, for many of us, when we hit the gym, having something supportive and stable is still the priority when it comes to training shoes. Because if your workout routine involves weight lifting or lateral movement drills of any kind, stability is of utmost importance. Stability doesn’t have to mean wearing a heavy shoe, the new adidas Bounce 5-Star Trainer is a perfect example of that.
The Bounce 5-Star Trainer uses a SprintSkin upper to keep the weight at an impressive 9.6 ounces. The Bounce 5-Star Trainer uses the adidas Bounce system and TPU support bands that increase stability and support. Bounce, known for its energy return technology, is applied from heel to forefoot, for responsive cushioning. Two colorways of the Bounce 5-Star Trainer are now available, one in a Black/Running White/Collegiate Royal and a second in Lead/Running White/University Red.
