The upcoming Derrick Rose signature from adidas has become one of the most anticipated shoes from adidas in quite some time. The University Red and Black colorway of the adiZero Rose is one that will surely turn heads, but it’s really the subtle details that impress when it comes to this shoe. This week’s Eastbay Photo of the Week gives us a close-up look at the subtle print that goes unseen from a distance, as well as an up-close look at the adidas Sprintskin technology that helps to keep Derrick Rose’s first signature shoe light as can be.

Derrick Rose’s signature model from adidas has been seen in a couple of colorways thus far. First it was the Black and Red adiZero Rose, then we saw the head-turning University Red and Black colorway. Today we have a look at another upcoming colorway that doesn’t have ties to the Chicago Bulls team colors.
These images of the Aluminum and Columbia Blue adiZero Rose give a close-up look at a couple of the technologies that adidas has worked into the design of Derrick’s first signature shoe. The GEOFIT technology ensures an atomically correct and comfortable fit, and the use of SprintSkin, the lightweight material found in previous feather-weight adidas models, like the adidas F50 adizZero.

You’ll want to stash away a little bit of that holiday money, or be sure to add these to your wish list early if you’re a Derrick Rose fan. Derrick’s adidas signature shoe will release in this impressive University Red and Black colorway on December 26th in limited quantities here at Eastbay.
While you’ll probably already be wearing the adidas adiZero Rose in Black for a while before these hit, the colorway is about as attention grabbing as you can get on the courts. The University Red seems to really help in showing the details in the texture on these basketball shoes that really set them apart. Of course, the Puremotion sole design and the Sprintskin ensure performance, too.
