Everybody wants a fresh pair of Js. The problem, if you’re a woman, is that the sizing can be a little bit tricky when it comes to Jordan shoes. So let’s break it down.
A lot of women buy men’s Jordan shoes in OG colorways, but Jordan has also continued to expand their offerings specifically for women. While Jordan shoes don’t come in women’s sizes, the brand does offer extended girls’ sizing to accommodate women who want to buy these sneakers. Typically, girls’ sizes range from 3.5-7. Jordan girls’ sizes extend all the way up to size 9.5, which is the equivalent of a women’s size 11.
To convert your regular women’s size into a Jordan’s grade school girls’ size, simply subtract 1.5 from your normal shoe size. For example, if you wear a women’s size 8, then you would buy a Jordan shoe in a grade school girls’ size 6.5.
Check out the conversion chart below to conveniently find your size. Now that you know how the sizing works, go cop a new pair and rock those Jordans.

The Retro 6 will be the next shoe to get the ‘Alternate’ color theme that the Jordan Brand has been dropping recently. The ‘Alternate’ colorways were created back in the day, but put in the archives and never released. Now, Jordan is bringing some of these colorways back. The Retro 6 ‘Alternate’ likely would have been worn during the 1991 playoff run. Men’s $189.99, Grade School $139.99.
The AJ XXXI is getting outfitted with the iconic ‘Black Cat’ colorway this weekend. The shoe features a black-and-white look and a black cat logo on the inside of each tongue. Though it may look like a simple shoe, it’s a colorway that has a special meaning to His Airness. As a kid, some of Michael Jordan’s closest friends nicknamed him ‘Black Cat.’ Men’s $184.99.
Just before the madness gets going, Nike is dropping several college basketball team colorways. The Kobe A.D. features a black-and-yellow look that’s inspired by Oregon. There is an “O” logo on the heel and a wing graphic wraps the midsole to tie into the Ducks theme. Men’s $159.99.
Just like Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant’s time at his alma mater was brief, but highly influential. The KD 9 dons the burnt orange color that Texas is well-known for, and the shoe’s heel tab says “Texas” to tie into the theme. Durant had one of the best freshman seasons of all time at Texas before moving on to the pros. Men’s $149.99.

Getting your own signature sneaker is a dream for millions of young basketball players, but one that only becomes a reality for an elite few. It’s one of the most exclusive clubs in the world of sports, and it is so rare that in Nike’s 44-year history less than one percent of Nike athletes have received a signature shoe.
Now, Paul George joins Nike’s elite by becoming the brand’s fourth active signature athlete, alongside LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving – and only the 21st basketball player to ever receive a signature shoe from Nike.
The PG1 blends George’s personality and performance attributes with a lightweight, low-cut style and nods toward his off-court interests. The simple silhouette is focused on functionality with a distinctive forefoot strap and Flywire cable loops for a dynamic, locked-down feel, while a Zoom Air unit adds responsive cushioning. The shoe also features a full-bootie construction for a snug fit and multi-directional, scale-inspired blade traction for ultimate court grip.
The PG1 drops on March 4 for $109.99. Stay locked on Eastbay’s social channels for more information on future colorways.
