Yeezys Through The Seasons

Since day one, Eastbay has been proud to offer you the hottest shoes around. We are your destination for Yeezys.

Check out the timeline below to view Eastbay’s journey with the popular kick by Kanye West x adidas Originals.

YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 'Light'

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Light’

The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Light’ drops August 28. It features a tonal grey Primeknit upper with a contrasting orange pull tab on the heel. The lateral side stripe is made with UV-activated yarns that changes color when exposed to sunlight, changing the stripe from grey to orange. Full-length BOOST cushioning and the classic Yeezy outsole complete the look.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Mono Ice’

The Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Mono Ice’ is part of the ‘Mono’ pack slated to drop on June 18. The pack consists of three semi-translucent colorways that will each be dropping in different parts of the world. While the ‘Mono Ice’ can be found in North America, the ‘Mono Clay’ can be found in Asia Pacific and China, and the ‘Mono Mist’ will drop in Europe, Africa, India, The Middle East, Russia, Ukraine, and China too.

The upper is made with monofilament mesh which makes it see-through and shows off the inner cage. The shoe is mostly a light blue color, save for the branding strip that is just a shade darker. The matching colors give the shoe a very chromatic feel for a clean look on your feet.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Ash Pearl’

The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 “Ash Pearl” will be launching on March 20, 2021. The shoe features a return to the earth-tone hues that have become fairly standard in the Yeezy line. Three different colors are layered across the upper with a sandy cream on the top, tan in the middle, and dark blue on the bottom. The two-toned gum outsole, a staple, brings the shoe together for a crisp, clean look.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Ash Blue’

The first Yeezy of 2021 has arrived. The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘ASH BLUE’ will be launching on 2/27. In a departure from the recent launches that have featured more earth tones, this shoe indulges in more shades of blue and gray. A yellow, non-transparent lateral side stripe breaks up the flow of the shoe, and the ribbed midsole sets it apart from other Yeezys.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Sand Taupe’

The final Yeezy of 2020 will be launching on 12/19. The Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Sand Taupe’ brings back some familiar earthy tones from previous models. The shoe features brown hues with rustic orange weaves running through the lateral vamp. The outsole is a light and dark gum color and there will also be a new lacing system featured.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Core Black/Red’

The YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 ‘CORE BLACK/RED’ is being re-released on 12/5 just in time for the holidays. The shoe is constructed with an all-black Primeknit upper with a matching TPU midsole that covers Boost cushioning. Red stitching on the pull tab matches the red “SPLY-350” lettering on the side panel.

Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Natural’

Continue to grow your sneaker collection by adding the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Natural’ to your closet. The upper is split into two variations of the titular color, with the top half being a darker shade and the bottom half a lighter shade. The heel pull from several of the past silhouettes has been removed, giving the shoe a cleaner look. This pair will be available on 10/24.

Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Carbon’

Put together a new look this fall with the adidas Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 ‘Carbon’. Sitting atop a translucent outsole is a Primeknit upper with black and gray tones. A solid black stripe runs along the lateral side with matching colored laces.

The adidas Originals Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘ZYON’ drops at 7 a.m. on 7/18/2020. Visit to buy a pair.

Slip on something different with the multi-colored ‘Zyon’ featuring two dual-colored sections of the upper separated by the lateral black stripe. Above the stripe is a grey and off-white pattern while below is dark brown and off-white.

The Yeezys below are no longer available for purchase.

Easton drops a new version of the B5 Pro Big Barrel Bat

Easton drops a new version of the B5 Pro Big Barrel Bat

The Green Easton is back!

When Easton first introduced the B5 Pro Big Barrel bat in 1978, it opened the world’s eyes to the largest barrel on an aluminum bat the sport of baseball had ever seen. Now, over 40 years later, Easton is bringing back that classic green, big barrel look and combining it with new, breakthrough technology worthy of the B5 Big Barrel name.

While the look will remind older generations of watching future legends like Barry Bonds, Bo Jackson, and Frank Thomas swing this stick, the new generation of players will be wowed by the larger sweet spot and bigger surface area that make this bat a must-have in today’s game.

“This is a really important bat launch for us because it combines the history of Easton as a company with the technology and engineering that we’ve been able to advance over the years,” said John Loeffler, the Category Manager of Bats at Easton Diamond Sports.

“We’re really excited to be reintroducing this bat to the next generation of baseball players,” Loeffler said. “I personally think it’s cool for a college or high school player to swing the same bat that their dad, uncle, or grandpa might have swung.”

But Loeffler also made it clear that it’s not really the exact same bat from the 70s and 80s — it’s loaded with the latest technology that Easton has been perfecting for decades.

The 2021 B5 version is BBCOR certified and features thin ATAC Alloy that maximizes barrel performance. This one-piece aluminum bat also utilizes a ringless barrel design with different layers of alloy spread across the barrel to create a bigger sweet spot and smoother feel. Finally, the VRS™ handle insert reduces vibration and the Natural Pro Balance results in a balanced feel, making it the perfect bat for both speed and power.

Even after all the innovative tech improvements, Easton’s design team didn’t want to stray too far from the original look, giving this bat a very minimalistic and retro feel.

“When starting to redesign the B5 Big Barrel, we wanted it to align with the original one’s look, but with a bit of a modern twist to it,” Loeffler said. “It’s a really sleek, traditional, and simple design. You see companies in other industries, like Vans or Chuck Taylor, keep that old school look. So, I think it’s cool to bring that vintage feel back into baseball because you never really see that in today’s age.”

Whether you’re fascinated by the revolutionary performance this one-piece aluminum BBCOR bat brings to the table or attracted to its modern remix of the Green Easton’s classic look, make sure to hit up right when it drops on 10/1 and pick one up!

The Best Team Basketball Shoes of 2018

The Best Team Basketball Shoes of 2018

Finding the shoe that fits your game isn’t always an easy task. The shoes on your feet play a part in every hard-earned bucket, well-read steal, or big-time board.

A quicker first step, better ankle support, responsive traction – the right shoe can help with all of it. Whatever part of your game you’re looking to step up, finding the shoe tailored to you can give you an edge this season. At Eastbay, we have the full arsenal of 2018’s best team basketball shoes in a range of colorways, so it’s easy to rep your team every time you step onto the court.

Nike LeBron Soldier XII

Nike LeBron Soldier XII

The LeBron Soldier XII, with four lightweight straps, keeps you locked down and in control, just like the king himself. A shoe full of straps can be a hard thing to nail aesthetically, but the Soldier XII pulls it off – this shoe looks good. Ultra-responsive and comfortable Zoom Air cushioning gives you a beast of a shoe that doesn’t compromise comfort and makes for soft landings. It’s a shoe battle- ready out of the box and it delivers on stability, comfort, and overall versatility. You can take this shoe in the paint or stay in the backcourt — basically anywhere on the court — just like LeBron.

Nike Kyrie 4

Nike Kyrie 4

Without a doubt one of the most explosive and creative guards in the NBA, Kyrie Irving needs a shoe that can react to his flashy crossover and even flashier first step. With a zig-zag patterned cutout of the shoe where the rubber hits the hardwood, you get full traction through even the most rapid changes in direction. A lightweight foam coupled with Zoom Air cushioning in the heel makes for the responsive court feel that savvy guards need to be play-makers. The fourth iteration of Kyrie’s line is a weapon every elusive guard needs in their arsenal this season.

Nike PG 2

Nike PG 2.5

The Nike PG 2.5 gets back to its roots with a second debut of the midfoot strap. It hasn’t been seen since the PG 1, and it doesn’t add much to the shoe in terms of weight, so it still plays like a lighter profile basketball shoe. The strap, however, gives you the power to tailor your own fit so you’re ready to man up against anyone, just like Paul George, and the innovative outsole keeps you from wiping your soles on every dead ball, so you can stay zoned in on what matters.

Nike Hyperdunk X Low

Nike Hyperdunk X

The Nike Hyperdunk has officially hit its decade mark as a staple in Nike’s performance basketball shoe lineup. The shoe started breaking down walls with its flawless Flywire design in 2008, and it’s back in even better form for the 2018 season. Superb on-court feel and traction come from its wave-like outsole patterns that grab the hardwood with authority. The iconic line keeps its staple Zoom Air cushioning and complements it with a lightweight upper to help you log heavy minutes.

Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 Low

Jordan Why Not Zer0.1 Low

The Why Not Zer0.1 boasts a Zoom Air bottom with a Phylon midsole from heel to toe for an ultra-responsive feel. The heel bucket keeps you locked in for chasing down boards, while the bootie construction gives you the customized fit and comfort to log serious PT this season. The shoe is also offered in a mid-top if extra support is a priority, so pick up a pair – why not?

adidas Pro Bounce Mid

adidas Pro Bounce

The Pro Bounce sports a high-cut silhouette with a sleek, not-too-busy design that excels in versatility and overall support. The shoe is equipped with ultra-tough TPU through the sole to help make toe-off motions and lift-offs more in control, yet explosive. If you play above the rim, a game’s worth of landings with the bounce midsole is a serious plus.

Under Armour SC 3Zero II

Under Armour SC 3Zero II – Available September 2018

Under Armour didn’t waste much time after the Curry 5 release to get started on Curry’s next performance basketball shoe. The second installment of the SC 3Zero features a large lateral wrap for 360-degree grip when pushing through screens, cutting to the hoop, or sliding over in time for the charge. The midsole brings you the explosive energy return seen in Curry’s elusive, change-of-speed offense by adding dual-density Micro G foam and Charged Cushioning.

Under Armour Hovr Havoc

Under Armour Hovr Havoc

Hovr tech cushioning – a high-end foam previously only found in running shoes – hits the hardwood for the first time. The shoe’s high-end foam provides great energy return and comfort while on the court. The shoe gets its guts and lateral mobility from the durable yet lightweight TPU material used in the heel counter, midfoot, and melted film on the mesh upper, all while being a seriously good looking shoe in the process. Find the Hovr Havoc in a low or mid-top in 14 different colorways today.

Nike Zoom Shift 2

Nike Zoom Shift 2

Shift into the next gear this season with the seriously grippy outsole on the Nike Zoom Shift 2. Nike drops in the same Zoom Air cushioning found in many of their performance-line shoes. At its core, the shoe stays light with its textile upper, a huge complement to the high-traction wraparound outsole for aggressive blow-bys. The Zoom Shift 2 is a serious deal sitting at only $100, and it’s poised to keep up with even the most elite players on the court.

Your game is unique to you, and your shoe should be too. The regular season is around the corner, and more shoes and colorways are in the queue to drop, so stay tuned.

Gear Up Just Like The Pros: Golf’s Hottest Gear

Gear Up Just Like The Pros: Golf’s Hottest Gear

It’s finally that time of year again. As the best golfers in the world do battle with Augusta this weekend, this is your perfect chance to snag the golf gear that they’ll be wearing.  Now we can’t promise that wearing the hottest clothing, shoes, and gloves will take your skills to the next level, but we can say with confidence that it’ll make you look better and feel better during every round.

There are plenty of golf shoes out there, but with its advanced technology and ideal comfort, the Nike Lunar Command shoes can truly be your biggest weapon on the course. Flywire cables wrap around the laces for a secure fit while Lunarlon cushioning ensures that your feet are as comfortable at hole 18 as they were at the opening tee.. But the truly revolutionary part of these cleats are the 7 removable CHAMP PiviX golf spikes. They twist and lock when pressure is applied for exceptional, adaptable traction on a variety of surfaces.

Nike has been making great golf polos for a while now and the Icon Elite is no exception. Its lightweight jersey fabric provides a soft, comfortable feel while its Dri-FIT technology wicks sweat away from your body during even the hottest days. Plus, its modern style and standard fit will make it a wardrobe favorite off the links as well.

It’s hard to name our favorite thing about the Oakley Take shorts. Is it their effortless, always stylish look? Or their convenient, worry-free fit that’s perfect for every golfer? Both are good answers, but we’re going to go with their 2-way stretch double weave fabric that moves with your swing for supreme mobility.

When it comes to golf pants, the most important thing is comfort. Whether walking or swinging, your pants need to move with you and never become a distraction. The Match Play’s performance waistband uses elastic stretch for added mobility on the course while the Moisture Transport System keeps you dry and comfortable.

Breathable. Comfortable. Stylish. The Under Armour JS Tour cap features ArmourVent mesh panels for ventilation and stretch construction for a customizable fit. It’s the perfect way to block out the sun and is sure to fit with whatever else you wear onto the golf course.

Your golf glove needs to give you the perfect grip and it can’t distract you during your swings. That’s what makes the Nike Tour Classic II such a great option. Premium Cabretta leather ensures that your grip, feel, and fit are always at the level you deserve while stretch zones on the back of the hand and fingers enhance flexibility and motion. Just what your next round needs.
