Under Armour’s Micro G Bloodline isn’t just a basketball shoe – it’s the story of the journey taken by Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings from the streets of Compton, California to the NBA. Every new colorway that is introduced represents an element of his life, both personally and professionally. Three new Bloodline styles have arrived at Eastbay today, each giving you a distinct look into the life of Jennings.
First up is a black-based shoe that has been given the nickname of “Compton Black.” The all-black colorway represents Brandon’s West Coast roots and features a custom tonal graphic pattern throughout the upper and the strap. Next up, a pair in green and white that has been dubbed the “Rowley Park Green.” This name refers to the surface of Jennings’ childhood basketball court in Gardena, California, which he and Under Armour refurbished over the 2011 NBA All-Star break. Last is the “Roma Blues,” a colorway inspired by the Lottomatica Roma basketball club in Italy, where Brandon became the first American player to skip college and play professionally in Europe. Each of these new colorways can be yours today.
