As the official outfitter of the NFL Combine, Under Armour has the opportunity to make the first impression on all of the league’s incoming athletes. They did just that, using the event to unveil a whole new range of footwear that will be released in accordance with this year’s football seasons. Here’s a look at one of UA’s newest cleats, which may be seen on the feet of new endorsers Cam Newton and Julio Jones during the upcoming NFL season.
For the athlete looking for a well-supported experience on the field, UA offers the Fierce III Mid, a sleek model worn by the brand’s biggest and baddest players. The durable cleat features a synthetic build wrapped in the exclusive Bolt pattern debuted at the NFL combine. Engineered into the Fierce IIIs design is a high ankle cross-strap that locks the foot in for additional support.
Not only is the Fierce III a superior performer, but it ranks near the top in terms of comfort. Cushioning is provided by a Micro G embedded midsole and 4D foam sockliner. The molded cleat also gets a traction boost from a Pebax outsole with detachable studs.
Look for the Fierce III Mid and other Under Armour Football offerings to arrive at Eastbay in early May.
