Winter is quickly coming upon most of us in the U.S., with rainy weather and dropping temperatures. With winter comes the need to stock up on footwear that can handle the cold, which for many means grabbing some new Timbs. Whether you’re in a warm or a cold climate, though, Timberland’s Earthkeepers Collection is one that anybody can get behind. Of course, the eco-friendliness and efforts to create a collection that respects the earth is just part of the reason. Timberland’s wide variety of designs that are part of the collection is another.
Starting with the City Escape Earthkeepers Moc Toe, which is available now, the entire collection lands on the high end of Timberland’s Green Index Rating. Some of the specifics include laces made of completely recycled PET and inner linings that are made up of 50 percent recycled PET. Even the soles are made up of partially recycled materials.
If the classic boot style of the Moc Toe isn’t your thing, then be sure to check out the Cupsole Hiker and the Chukka, which will arrive at Eastbay in a month or so.
