Led by Brazilian striker Camilo’s two goals on penalty kicks, the Whitecaps were able to take care of Real Salt Lake 3-0. Taking advantage of two penalty kicks awarded on two handball infractions by Real Salt Lake, the Whitecaps were able to capitalize and score on both occasions, combining with some flawless defense to end up with the victory.

The young Camilo made the difference for the Whitecaps, scoring on both of the penalty kick opportunities. The goals were Camilo’s 10th and 11th of the season.¬†Although the Whitecaps do not have much to be proud of this season, last night’s victory over Real Salt lake helped them avoid matching a league record for fewest wins in a season.
