Quentin Richardson in the Jordan 6 Rings and Gerald Henderson in the Zoom Kobe V, inspecting dental work?
words // Nick Engvall
With just a week left in the regular season, it can be expected that frustrations and grudges might bubble to the surface as players realize they’re preparing to either pack it up for the summer or move on to the playoffs. Wednesday in Charlotte, Orlando Magic guard Quentin Richardson let his emotions get the best of him against the Bobcats. Just three games remain for the Magic, but after shoving Gerald Henderson, Orlando might have to go without Q-Rich, and Dwight Howard due to an early technical in the near future.
In the end, Gerald got the best of the deal, finishing the game with a career high 32 points, but Orlando walked away with the win. As it stands, Orlando sits in forth place in the Eastern Conference. They’ll likely face the Atlanta Hawks in the first round. Will losing Q-Rich or Dwight to suspension hurt them? Hard to say, but one thing is for sure, Gilbert Arenas has a solid sneaker collection.
