Ray Allen knocks down a 3-pointer in the Jordan 2010 Team.
If you’re anything close to an NBA fan, you’ve probably seen this day coming for quite some time. Boston’s Ray Allen is set to take the all-time 3-point record away from Reggie Miller. Miller holds the current record for most 3-point shots made in a career at 2,560, but Monday Ray Allen moved within striking distance with two more 3-pointers. Allen trails Miller by just two now, and will look to take the record against the rival Los Angeles Lakers in Thursday.
In other action around the league, the Zoom Kobe VI seemed to highlight Monday’s games. However, there were a couple of celebrities that you might not expect to see in our Sneaker Watch coverage. One of the stars of the Super Bowl commercials, Darth Vader, made an appearance at the Staples Center. Snoop Dogg also came laced with goods from his latest partner, adidas Originals, and made a courtside appearance in Los Angeles.
