Continuing their great play early in the season, the Los Angeles Clippers became the second team this week to knock off the defending champion Dallas Mavericks with a last-second three pointer.
No stranger to taking game-winning shots and hitting, Chauncey “Mr. Big Shot” Billups hit a clutch three-pointer with one second left on the clock to get the big W over the Mavs. Mo’ Williams led all scorers for the Clippers with 26 points off the bench, while DeAndre Jordan put in 19 points to help lead LA to victory.
The Sacramento Kings also had a great night, earning a victory over the talented Indiana Pacers. Fueled by a key 4th quarter rally, the Kings were able to pull-off the 92-88 victory despite shooting just 30.1 percent from the field. The Kings were led by Marcus Thornton who put in 17 points, while DeMarcus Cousins tallied 13 points and grabbed a career-high 19 rebounds.
