Continuing their fast-growing rivalry, the LA Clippers and Lakers met last night for the second time this season. Playing in a playoff-like atmosphere at the Staples Center, the Lakers were able to hold-off the Clips’ late in the 4th for the 96-91 victory.
Kobe Bryant came through clutch late in the game putting in 24 points for the Lakers, while Gasol ended the night with 23 points and 10 rebounds. The Blake Show led the way for the Clippers, putting in 26 points in a losing effort. Returning to action for the Clippers, Chris Paul tallied only 4 points and added 12 assists.
