Thanks to two missed free throws late in the game by reigning MVP Derrick Rose, the Heat were able to pull-off a 97-93 victory over the Bulls in their first meeting since last season’s Eastern Conference Finals.

Although missing his first 4th quarter free throws of the season, Derrick Rose ended the game with 34 points, putting together the highest scoring output from any single player versus the Heat this season. LeBron James led the way for the Heat with 35 points, while Chris Bosh put in 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Heat’s 15th victory of the fast-paced season.
