Even if everyone in the world has been expecting the Miami Heat to win the NBA title this season, last night’s come from behind victory was nothing short of impressive. That is, to everyone but the Chicago Bulls and their fans.

LeBron James led the Heat on an 18-3 run to take the Heat into the NBA Finals against the Dallas Mavericks. LeBron’s defense in the 4th quarter shut down MVP Derrick Rose. LeBron scored 28 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists in Miami’s 83-80 victory.

Derrick Rose finished with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for Chicago. Rose missed a key free throw in the final minutes and with Miami’s relentless defense, Chicago was unable to get a decent shot off as time expired.

The NBA Finals will begin Tuesday night in Miami in what will be a rematch of the 2006 Finals. Each of the teams, however, only has 2 players remaining from those teams from 5 years ago.
