Mark Jackson’s Golden State Warriors too care of business last night, shutting down the New York Knicks’ superstar duo with their suffocating defense. Earning the 92-78 victory, The Warriors were led by their star Monta Ellis who was able to finish the game with 22 points after a weak first half start.

Although they were playing without their starting point guard Stephen Curry, the Warriors were able to cruise to the victory, leading by as much as 19 points throughout the game. The victory over the the Knicks’ is the Warriors’ second big win over an Eastern Conference powerhouse this season, previously taking care of the Bulls 99-91 on Monday Night.

Other action around the league included the Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder earning victories to move to 3-0 on the season, as well as the Boston Celtics continuing to struggle, moving to 0-3 after a 97-78 blowout defeat at the hands of the New Orleans Hornets.
