Salomon continues to stay comfortably near the top of the game when it comes to trail running shoes. The off-the-beaten-path is the most comfortable path when it comes to their designs. Their latest release is an update on one of their most popular silhouettes, the Speedcross.
While last year’s “Tomato Red” Speedcross 2 stepped outside the traditional color palette with its unique color combination, the Salomon Speedcross 3 is taking the bright and bold approach to a new level. Of course, for those with more reserved taste, a simple black colorway is also available.
The Salomon Speedcross 3 features a water-resistent, anti-debris mesh upper that is comprised of lightweight Feather construction. The company’s Quicklace technology makes for easy-on and easy-off fitment, but also provides an incredibly secure fit, and the Kevlar laces and mechanism are easily out of the way thanks to a lace pocket for the Quickfit lock. An aggressive Contagrip outsole and lightweight EVA midsole provide cushioning and traction for this 10.2 ounce trail shoe.
