Don’t look at the Soldier as just another series in LeBron James’ Nike signature line; the King spent majority of last season playing in the Zoom Soldier 7. Now, in the midst of summer hoops and with a new season looming, Nike presents the Soldier 8.
Designed with protection, responsiveness and containment in mind, the Soldier 8 features a flexible forefoot mesh upper with dynamic Flywire technology. A collar strap provides extra lockdown, while a quick release zipper helps ease the foot’s entrance. Faceted Phylon works with Zoom cushioning in the forefoot for low-to-the-ground responsiveness. Natural motion is enhanced with a decoupled forefoot and heel outsole with a peer flex traction pattern.
This weekend, the Soldier 8 arrives in an all-new ‘Magnet Grey’ colorway. Varying tones takes are of the shoe’s upper, with hits of volt providing pop on the branding, Flywire, inner lining and outsole.
You can pick up these Nike basketball shoes at Eastbay for $130 this Saturday, August 23 at 8:00 a.m. EST / 7:00 a.m. CST. Follow @Eastbay on Twitter and @OfficialEastbay on Instagram for all release information and updates.
