The successful run of the Nike Zoom KD IV continues with this new team-oriented colorway now available at Eastbay. Perhaps a look that reflects Kevin Durant’s time at Maryland’s Montrose Christian, the new Nike basketball shoes feature a matte-finished black synthetic upper, accented by Gorge Green on the cross-strap, AdaptiveFit notation tab and tongue. White works Swoosh branding and KD’s logo on the heel, while grey is used for the inner lining and midsole. The outsole is finished off in grey and green rubber and features several details that tie into Durant’s personal life.
Featuring Hyperfuse construction, the Zoom KD IV is the first shoe of its kind equipped with AdaptiveFit technology, a system that provides a lock-down fit with a synthetic strap that wraps up from the inside of the upper and integrates with the laces for superior fit and lateral support. A Phylon midsole, custom midfoot shank and Zoom Air cushioning units provide a comfortable ride. Below, a unique Thunderbolt traction pattern represents KD’s Oklahoma City Thunder teammates and offers multi-directional traction.
