Final NBA All-Star voting returns before the official announcement had Kevin Durant leading the way for forwards in the Western Conference. If that holds true, the scoring sensation from the Oklahoma City Thunder will be in line to start the first All-Star Game of what is sure to be many in his career.
Along with his second All-Star bid may come a second scoring title. Averaging 28.4 points per game, KD has a comfortable lead over the pack to win scoring bragging rights for the second consecutive year. Doing so would put him in elite company, joining names like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant. Doing so at the age of 22 would put him in a class of his own.
Every ‘blackout’ scorer needs a ‘blackout’ shoe in their signature lineup. Here’s a look at the black-on-black Zoom KD III. The leather-based shoe features a tonal Flywire panel near the forefoot and mesh side panels. Dark grey provides a minimal change in color, working Flywire branding, KD’s logo on the tongue and the video game buttons on the heel. Predictably, a black Zoom-cushioned rubber sole with classic herringbone traction pattern finishes things below.
The Black/Dark Grey colorway of the Zoom KD III will be available at Eastbay on February 4th.
I like all black shoes for basketball.. would like to see some one else wearing these first.
you don’t have to see someone else wearing them. you buy it or you don’t. you try it on and i don’t ever wait to see someone else before i do cause i am the one that is wearing it.
