LeBron James has led the Miami Heat to 2-0 lead in their first round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers. As can be expected, Lebron was outfitted with a new post season version of his latest signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 8 PS.

To give him a little extra quickness in his step, Nike Basketball reduced the weight of the latest LeBron James shoes by replacing the Max Air unit that formerly resided in the forefoot with a slightly lighter Zoom Air version. The most easily recognizable change comes in the use of the Hyperfuse technology, which combines mesh and synthetic materials for an ultra lightweight and breathable upper. Thanks to the Fuse upper, carbon fiber midfoot plate, 180 Air heel unit, and Zoom Air forefoot unit, the overall weight of the PS comes in at 14.2 ounces, nearly a full ounce lighter than the LeBron 8 V 2.

Check out the detailed photos of the colorway that LeBron has been wearing against the 76ers below, and of course King James, who decided to swap out the red laces for a black pair.
